Abigail Hong

A native of Philadelphia, Abigail went to the Temple Boyer School of Music as a Starling Scholarship Recipient where she began her studies with Soovin Kim and Amy J. Lee. She has performed with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Black Pearl Orchestra, and the Ambler Symphony, and won top prizes at the Fischoff, Plowman, and Remember Enescu International Chamber Music Competitions. She has performed at Yellow Barn, Music@Menlo, Pablo Casals, Norfolk, Meadowmount, and Bowdoin Music Festivals, as well as with The New World Symphony, A Far Cry, New York String Orchestra Seminar, and Symphony in C. Ms. Hong currently plays a M. Miralles violin on generous loan through the Maestro Foundation.
