Alexandros Petrin, Violin

Born into a family of musicians, Greco-Russian violinist Alexandros Martinos Petrin is an active solo, chamber and orchestral performer, currently studying with Alexander Barantschik and Ian Swensen at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Winner of Miami Summer Music Festival’s Concerto Competition in 2016, he has performed as a soloist at the New World Symphony and at the end of 2016 he was a soloist with the New York Chamber Players as the first prize winner of the Annual Competition.
A student of Stepan Simonyan in Greece and Isaac Malkin in NYC, Alex holds a Gold Medal Diploma from the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and Bachelor – Master Degrees from Manhattan School of Music.
