Pianist Cameron Stowe has earned a reputation as a leading specialist in the study and performance of song recital repertoire, receiving much critical praise and numerous awards for his commitment to this art form as a performer, researcher and teacher. Noted for his spirited and sensitive playing, he maintains an active performance schedule as a song recital collaborator, appearing regularly in recital with many of the most prominent concert singers and opera stars of his generation. Also dedicated to his role as an educator, Stowe is Chair of the Collaborative Piano department at New England Conservatory and a faculty member at The Juilliard School. In recent summers, he has taught at Aspen Music Festival and the Vancouver International Song Institute. He regularly gives concerts and masterclasses for pianists and singers throughout the United States and abroad. This season includes appearances in Vancouver, Seville, Chicago, New York, Beijing, and Taipei.
Stowe holds a doctorate from The Juilliard School and degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and Peabody Conservatory (Johns Hopkins University).
