Samuel Andonian

A Massachusetts native, Samuel Andonian began studying the violin at age seven, and is currently an undergraduate student of Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory in Boston. Samuel has been a soloist with orchestras such as the Boston Pops Orchestra, the New England Philharmonic, and the Boston Youth Symphony. He won the junior silver prize in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition as a member of the Trio Adonais, and was a concertmaster of the Boston Youth Symphony for three seasons. He has attended festivals such as The Perlman Music Program, the Pablo Casals Festival Academie, the Heifetz International Music Institute, the New York String Orchestra Seminar, and Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival. Some of his solo performances include the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s season-opening gala, and NPR’s radio show From the Top.
