Moores School of Music faculty, students, alumni and local guest artists are excited to present a chamber music concert in support of Houston Food Bank at Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Houston at 7:30pm on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022. The program explores chamber music as a vehicle for immortalizing memories with a peek into the other side of Alice's looking glass through Caroline Shaw's creatively absurd Entr'acte, Robert Schumann's remarkably evocative Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, and the sonic manifestation of Tchaikovsky's adoration of a seductively warm Florence, Italy in his Souvenir de Florence for string sextet.
