Dvořák, Montgomery, and Mozart performed by Curtis Faculty and Students
On Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 7:30 pm, renowned violinist Eric Keefe and fellow musicians from the Curtis Institute of Music will perform Dvořák’s virtuosic, folksy Terzetto in C Major, Op. 74; Jessie Montgomery’s programmatic and nimble Musings; and Mozart’s radiant and sublime Clarinet Quintet in A Major, K. 581, “Stadler.”
The concert begins at 7:30 pm. A dessert-reception with the musicians precedes the concert.
Tickets (concert and reception) are $35 ($20 student) plus additional optional donation. All proceeds benefit the transformative work of The Sunday Love Project.

Chamber Music Masterpieces: UCLA String Faculty in Concert
Join us at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music for an evening of chamber music. Experience Beethoven’s Eyeglasses Duo and Kodály’s Duo for Violin and Cello. After intermission, immerse yourself in Prokofiev’s Sonata for Two Violins, Viktor Ullmann’sString Quartet No. 3, and conclude with Shostakovich’s electrifying Two Pieces for String Octet. This concert presents the wonderful tradition of collaboration between UCLA strings faculty and students. Featuring violinists Ji Young An, Varty Manouelian, Adam Millstein, Movses Pogossian, violists Che Yen Chen and Damon Zavala, and cellists Ben Hong and Jeffrey Ho.
This performance is held in support of the food services of Ketchum Downtown YMCA, through Music for Food. This musician-led initiative harmonizes the power of the arts with the critical mission of combating hunger, underscoring our commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
Labyrinth Choir
On Saturday, November 23 from 4 to 5:15 p.m., St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Newton will host the incredible Labyrinth Choir, a professional, mixed vocal ensemble of 22 musicians, who will present a program of contemporary classical, gospel, and Broadway songs reflecting the diverse, evocative emotions of gratitude, love and joy.The concert is free with a suggested donation of $40. All donations will go directly to support the good work of the Centre Street Food Pantry in Newton, who provide the surrounding communities with consistent and inclusive access to healthy food, with dignity and kindness.

With programs that blend the old and new, the "intriguing programming" (The New York Times) and "striking originality" (I Care If You Listen) of the Momenta Festival have been acclaimed by critics and fans alike.
The ninth edition of the festival celebrates two anniversaries: 150 years of Charles Ives and 20 years of Momenta Quartet. Each night a work by Ives will be performed by the quartet and special guests.
Admission is free with a suggested donation ($40/adult, $15/student); no tickets or RSVPs are necessary. All proceeds will go to Broadway Community.

Roots and Reflections
The first Boston concert of Music for Food’s 15th season —Roots and Reflections— will explore sacred, folk, and contemporary jewels from Germany, Armenia, and the United States.

Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival - Fellows perform at College Street Congregational Church.
Festival Fellows quartets give the final performance of the 2024 Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. In lieu of a ticket purchase, concertgoers should being a non-perishable food item to donate to Feeding Chittenden.
Pogossian Family and Artur Avanesov at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall
The Pogossian family and guest artist Artur Avanesov present stunning concert on June 15th in the Arno Babajanyan concert hall to benefit Armenian Progressive Youth, which provides food and household items to displaced families from Artsakh.
Schoenfeld, Schumann, and Prokofiev at the Lilypad
Violinist Lily Tsai, violist Jenn Chang, cellist Valerie Chen, and pianist Solon Gordon perform duos, trios, and quartets for violin, viola, cello, and piano at the Lilypad to benefit Food for Free, an organization that rescues and redistributes 2 million pounds of food a year in Cambridge!

A brilliant quartet of musicians—violinist Robyn Julyan, violist Margaret Dyer, viola, cellist Trevor Minton, cello, and pianist Damien Krzyzek—perform three piano quartets in support of Metro Caring’s work. Admission is free with a suggested donation (+$30/adult; +$10/student), and 100% of proceeds benefit Metro Caring.

Join Catherine Kautsky’s piano studio for an evening of music by Mozart, Chopin, Debussy, and others, all performed in support of a Native American reservation food pantry. All checks should be made out to the pantry.

Join FSU faculty and students in a performance of vibrant chamber music by Schubert, Hsu, and Schumann to benefit the FSU Food for Thought Pantry. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the pantry.
Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival - FaMa Quartet Plays for the Williston Community Food Shelf
The amazing Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival presents an evening of musc at Isham Farm in celebration of the festival's upcoming 20th summer season!
The concert features a performance by the FaMa Quartet which formed at GMCMF in 2021, who will present works by Mendelssohn, Ysaÿe and Debussy. Guests will also have an opportunity to learn about Green Mountain from its leaders, as well as the mission of the Williston Community Food Shelf. A light reception will be provided.
Attendees should bring a monetary (cash/check) or non-perishable food item donation in lieu of a ticket purchase. All proceeds benefit the Williston Community Food Shelf, which aims to provide high-quality food to those in need in their community, and to connect those community members and families with essential support services.

Duo Gwynne - Storms of Elegance
Our fabulous Artist Fellows Long Okada and Nicholas Southwick—together, Duo Gwynne—present their program Storms of Elegance at Carriage House’s showroom in Boston to raise funds for the FUEL program at Church of the Redeemer. This program seeks to paint a portrait of the lives and works of five composer-performers who shaped the musical landscape at the turbulent turn of the 19th century in Europe. Voices of Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-Georges, François Devienne, Maddalena Lombardini-Sirmen, Friedrich Dülon, and Joseph Martin Kraus will be placed center stage and celebrated for their contributions to music in the Classical Era.

Parlando - Enoch Arden
Our 14th season in Boston —Parlando — weaves together three threads that all have to do with the stories we tell…in music.
Our season finale, curated by 11-time Grammy nominee Marc-André Hamelin, features Richard Strauss’ melodrama Enoch Arden. Marc-André will be joined by world-renowned actor, playwright, and pianist Hershey Felder for this once-in-a-lifetime performance.

Aizuri Quartet, Kim Kashkashian, Marcy Rosen at PCMS
In partnership with Music for Food, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society presents the “genuinely exciting” (New York Times) Aizuri Quartet, violist Kim Kashkashian, and cellist Marcy Rosen in a program that explores the idea of community in a multi-faceted way. It features works by four female composers, including Indian American composer Reena Esmail, whose raag-influenced Fantasie layers the voices of the string quartet to create a beautiful, swirling world that invites players and audience into the concert experience.

MFF Pittsburgh rounds out their season at Chatham Univeristy with a warm concert featuring pianists Tina Faigen, Walter Morales, Yeeha Chiu, Mark Carver, and flautist Edward Schultz. All donations (cash and checks made out to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank) will go directly to the pantry .
Mimosa Chamber Ensemble with Kim Kashkashian and Zhanbo Zheng
The Mimosa Chamber Ensemble—an artist-led ensemble of non-professional musicians from all walks of life—performs their annual spring Music for Food concert on March 16th with a program of Mendelssohn, Hindemith, Suk, and Telemann. All concert proceeds benefit the Broadway Community, which has served NYC’s most vulnerable community members since 1982 with a four-star soup kitchen, a food pantry, on-site medical services, showers, shelter, and more.
